Makromed Reagent Strips

Makromed Reagent Strips are part of a complete line of dip-and-read urinalysis products that assist the health proffessional to quickly screen for abnormal body functions. Any abnormal urine test result for pH, Leukoctes, Nitrate, Protein, Glucose, Ketones, Urobilinogen, Bilirubin, Blood and Specific Gravity gives the health professional good reason to find out what the underlying illness or condition is causing the abnormal reading.

Evaluation of results is always clear and reliable thanks to the easy read vertical colour scale on the can label. These colours perfectly match the reaction colour on the test strip patches.
Urine Strip Analyser
The MAKROmed Urine Strip Analyser is a protable desktop instrument for reading reagent strips for Urinalysis. It can be used in a central laboratory or a point-of-care setting and is able to read up to 120 strips per hour. The analyser uses four LEDs (2x 522nm green, 2x 624nm orange) as a light source. The reflected light is detected with a photodiode and according to the internal calibration converted to the concentration of the analyte on the test pad.
